Burglars arrested red-handed

Breskens – A complainant sees via a camera that there are several burglars in his home. He calls the police and they go together.

On Monday, March 25, 2024 at 8:50 PM, the complainant called the police control room. He sees that in his home at 2e Zandstraat several people walk along taking things and committing vandalism. He’s at work. Several police units and the Royal Military Police rush to the house. One of the units picks up the complainant from work and takes him away.

Arrests

In the immediate vicinity they find a man and a woman with a bag. A short time later a car drives up and two people get out. They are acquaintances of each other. After viewing the images in the home, the four are arrested for theft in association and/or open violence. These are two men and two women, a 20-year-old Polish man with no known place of residence in the Netherlands, a 23-year-old man from Sas van Gent, an 18-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman from Terneuzen. The suspects have been taken to the station and detectives will investigate the case further.
