A suspicious package was found on Marspoortstraat in the center of Zutphen on Sunday afternoon. This is what Omroep Gelderland writes. It concerns an explosive that consisted of heavy fireworks, a gas cylinder and a penis cuddly toy, which were taped together.
The Defense Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD) arrived on site to investigate. The fire brigade and an ambulance were also present as a precaution. The street where the suspicious package was found was cordoned off.
Investigation by the EOD showed that it was an explosive, consisting of illegal fireworks, a gas cylinder and a penis cuddly toy, which were taped together. The explosive was destroyed by the EOD at a special location in Lochem.
