Amsterdam home closed after discovery of hard drugs and heavy weapons

The police closed a house in Amsterdam because they found hard drugs and heavy weapons there. Including several Kalashnikovs and kilos of cocaine.

Suspicious at night

The police noticed that the house on Dr. H. Colijnstraat in Geuzenveld was mainly visited at night by suspicious people. She then launched an investigation, during which 7.8 kilos of cannabis and 412 grams of cocaine were found in the house. The drugs would have an estimated street value of 80,000 euros.

Firearms

In addition, six firearms were found, including a Kalashnikov and a Colt. There was also a bag of ammunition for an AR15, an American semi-automatic rifle, and an empty case for a Sig Sauer handgun. Drug tools were also present in the home in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, reports the Amsterdam newspaper Het Parool, such as a packaging machine and a sealing device.

The police made the discovery at the end of April. The municipality of Amsterdam has decided to close the house for three months. This happened on June 26.
