Het besluit volgt op een oproep die fans hebben gedeeld met de redacties van een aantal grote ochtendprogramma’s. Met het draaien van het lied willen de fans en de zenders het duo steunen in deze moeilijke tijd. Zij deelden dinsdag dat Freek ongeneeslijk ziek is.
