Amsterdam – The police arrested a 16-year-old suspect on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in the investigation into two explosions in Amsterdam-Noord. The explosions took place at the end of March on Slootdorpstraat in Amsterdam-Noord. The police immediately launched a major investigation, which led to the arrest of the 16-year-old boy. The explosions are probably the result of a theft of a piece of clothing. The boy is currently in custody and is being interrogated. The public prosecutor will later determine whether he should be brought before the examining magistrate.
