“Ajax and PSV are aiming for the same Turkish attacker, transfer still seems very far away”

Ajax and PSV would have asked Galatasaray for a transfer from Baris Alper Yilmaz. This is reported by the Turkish Skorer. SS Lazio would also be interested in the 23-year-old left winger.

Yilmaz had his breakthrough at Galatasaray last season. The attacker came into action in 32 games and scored eight goals and gave six assists in those matches. Yilmaz left Ankara Keciörengücü for Galatasaray in 2021 for 2.1 million euros. In the same year, he made his debut for the Turkish national team. He played five games for that.

For PSV, Lazio and Ajax it seems to be a tough job to let Yilmaz make the switch. Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk has already indicated that he wants to give the attacker more playing time next season. In addition, Yilmaz himself also seems to have little appetite for a transfer to one of the three interested clubs.
