Workplace manager – IT job vacancy in Netherlands

Amsterdam UMC is looking for a motivated and expert temporary worker to support their Workplace Equipment Team in the replacement of more than 2500 computers at the AMC location.

As a member of the Workplace Equipment Team, you are responsible for carefully and efficiently replacing computers, where it is essential that the new systems are fully operational and that users’ workplaces are left tidy. In addition, accurate administrative documentation of the replacements is of great importance.

Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software; Flexibility and proactivity in solving problems; Accuracy and attention to detail in administrative tasks; Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Physically replacing computers at various locations within the AMC; Careful installation and configuration of new computers to ensure they are fully functional; Ensuring a neat and organized workplace for users after replacement; Updating administrative systems relating to any computer exchange; Work with the Workplace Equipment Team to resolve any issues during the replacement process; Report progress to the team coordinator and communicate any unforeseen challenges.
