The police discovered a drug lab in Weert on Monday evening that was running at the time. Two people were immediately arrested on the spot.

The lab was housed in a shed at a house on Ittervoorterweg. The police could not yet say what type of synthetic drugs were produced.
Specialists from the National Facility Dismantling (LFO) arrived on site on Monday evening to conduct further investigation.
The police have secured and cordoned off the area around the building.
