Amsterdam – A stabbing incident took place on Friday, March 22, 2024 around 6:30 am in a house on James Cookstraat in Amsterdam. An 80-year-old woman died as a result. A woman (21), known to the victim, has been arrested and is being interrogated.
Around 6:30 am the police received a report of a stabbing incident in a house on James Cookstraat. The police immediately go to the scene and find the 21-year-old suspect in the stairwell, who is arrested. The woman was found in the home with serious injuries. The police, ambulance personnel and the Mobile Medical Team provide first aid. The woman (80) died of her injuries on the way to the hospital.
