Groningen – In the night of Saturday 25 to Sunday 26 February 2023, the police received a report of a fire at the Grondzijl in Groningen. The fire soon spread above the building. The initial investigation revealed that arson may have been committed. We are therefore looking for witnesses to the fire and people who can tell us more about that fire.
Industrial area
The building where the fire raged is located at Grondzijl 20; on a small-scale industrial estate in Groningen. Two companies are located in the building. The first report of the fire came in around 01:30 AM (on Sunday, February 26, 2023). The fire brigade arrived on the spot and was able to extinguish the fire.
