Zaandam – The King’s Night was less festive for a group that visited the fair at the Burgemeester in ‘t Veldpark in Zaandam. Around 10 p.m., the police received a report that a stabbing incident had taken place. Shortly afterwards, people were also said to have fought and were mistreated at two locations. The police have arrested two people.
In and outside the fairground, several people would have fought with each other. At least one person also used a stabbing weapon. A man and a woman were treated in hospital for their injuries. At the scene, the police were able to arrest a 36-year-old man from Amsterdam. Later, a second suspect reported to the police station. This 41-year-old man from Zaandam was also arrested.
