Winschoten – On Saturday, November 18, a serious accident took place on the Oosterhavenkade in Winschoten. A car fell into the water. There were two people in the car. One of them was able to be removed from the car by bystanders. The second victim was freed from the car by the fire brigade. This 18-year-old man from Groningen was seriously injured. He was taken to hospital in critical condition. We immediately started an investigation into the circumstances on site. For example, trace investigations have been carried out and we have spoken to several witnesses. Camera images are also viewed.
