Naarden – In the night of Wednesday 15 to Thursday 16 February, a tobacco shop on the E. de Bruynstraat was broken into by three perpetrators. Police are looking for witnesses who saw something or have other information that could help the investigation.

Around a quarter to four at night, several residents heard a loud bang and glass shattering. When the police arrived on the scene, they saw that the door of the store was damaged and open. Also, some store shelves were almost empty and the floor of the store was littered with glass and packs of cigarettes. The camera images show that the shoplifting was committed by three people who were fully dressed in black. They also brought a large bag.

The police tried to track down the perpetrators with a sniffer dog, but unfortunately they were unsuccessful.
