The Hague – The police are investigating an explosion at a house in Edisonstraat. In the night of Thursday 16 to Friday 17 March, a loud bang was heard at the front of the house. No one was injured, but the house was damaged.

The explosion, around 0.15 am, damaged the front door and the window of the house, among other things. There was also damage to a car parked near the house. The two residents were not injured and were safely evacuated from their home. The police immediately launched an investigation into the cause of the explosion. It is the second incident in a short time on Edisonstraat. In the night of Tuesday March 14 and Wednesday March 15, the street was startled by a car fire, this case also has the attention of the police and the connection between the two incidents is being investigated.
