Zoetermeer – On Thursday, November 2, a RandstadRail tram driver was seriously assaulted by four boys at the Centrum West stop. The police are investigating and looking for witnesses.
Around 9 p.m., the tram driver confronted four boys who were blocking the elevator with an electric scooter. Almost immediately, the tram driver was attacked from several sides by the foursome and received punches. The victim has been transported to hospital.
Description of suspects
The tram driver was abused by four boys, probably around 18 years old. All had a light skin color. A suspect wore a green jacket and left on the electric scooter in the direction of the city center of Zoetermeer. The other three suspects left in an unknown direction. One of them wore a gray sweater, another a black jacket with a collar and the last suspect had a dark blue jacket with a hood.
