Witnesses sought after finding suspicious package Laren

That morning around 09:00 a report came in of a suspicious object at a building on the Brink in Laren. Due to a possible explosion hazard, agents have evacuated the area and the help of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service of Defense (EOD) has been called in. They removed the package and detonated it in a safe location. The area was released around 12 noon.

Investigation started
The police immediately launched an investigation into the background of this find. A neighborhood investigation is being carried out and camera images are being checked to find out how and by whom the package was left there, presumably during the night. Forensic investigation must show whether there were workable substances and whether there was an actual risk of explosion.
