Witnesses sought after fatal crash

Poeldijk – A fatal accident took place on the Monsterseweg in Poeldijk on Wednesday morning, March 15. One person died and one person was seriously injured. Police are investigating the accident and would like to speak to witnesses.

Two vehicles collided head-on on Wednesday morning around 6:15 am. The drivers of both vehicles were seriously injured. One of them, a 35-year-old man from Monster, died on the spot from his injuries. An 18-year-old man from Maassluis was transported to hospital under motorcycle escort.
