Haarlem – In the night from Friday 14 to Saturday 15 April 2023, around 01.40 am, two men from Haarlem become victims of a street robbery. They sustain injuries but do not have to go to the hospital. Police are investigating the case and are asking for the public’s help in the hope that witnesses will come forward. Video images of the period before, during and after this incident are also very welcome. Do you have information?
The victims (24 and 25 years old) walk along the Kruisweg towards the Parklaan and notice that they are being followed by two men. When they turn towards the Kenaupark, the two suspects come closer. They call on the victims to hand over their belongings. When the two men do not respond, a skirmish ensues. As soon as the loot is in, the duo runs back in the direction of the station via the Kenaupark.
