Hoorn – On Wednesday, April 19, between 10:10 PM and 10:40 PM, a minor boy from the municipality of Medemblik fell victim to a street robbery. Police are investigating the case and are appealing for witnesses.
When the victim crosses the Provincialeweg and cycles up the Keern in the direction of Zwaag, he notices that he is being chased by a group of young people. The same group was previously seen at the bus stop near the railway on the Dampte. At the exit of the Doctor CJK van Aalstweg they cut off the victim and take away property. The victim refuses to cooperate and is then beaten. Under threatening circumstances, he relinquishes his property. As soon as the loot is in, the group cycles onto the Doctor CJK van Aalstweg.
