It’s wonderful to be engaged.” When did you know that Eline is the woman of your dreams? “I knew that from the first conversation we had. Eline is a researcher, an academic so to speak. She really is the scientist, while I only talk about it. Eline has also done a lot with theater and writing for film and theater and then went all the way into science. Of course I started with science and am now more in the creative corner, so it quickly became clear that she and I were meant for each other.”

Your first meeting was in Best. Why there? ”Eline lived and worked in Maastricht and I in Amsterdam. I then checked with my computer what exactly the center is and that is Best. And what’s better than Best? We had a very romantic picnic on our first date. Eline and I know each other from the internet. We got talking on Twitter.”
