Stadskanaal – In the night of May 15 to 16, a fire destroyed a building at the Basketmaker in Stadskanaal. Just before the fire, a suspect entered the building. The person was captured on camera footage. Who recognizes the suspect?

Several fire trucks and the police immediately go to the scene. Firefighting activities cannot prevent the building from being completely reduced to ashes. The police immediately start an investigation. That investigation shows that it was a case of arson. A suspect has been captured on CCTV footage from the area.

We see the suspect for the first time around 2:00 am. The person then cycles in the vicinity of the business premises. A little later the person cycles onto the site. The suspect stops at the front door of the building and goes inside. After some time the cyclist leaves the building and the suspect disappears at the rear. A few minutes later flames can be seen.
The images are black and white and the suspect can be seen at a distance. Still, someone might recognize the suspect. For example, the way you cycle, the bicycle with panniers or the hat the person wears.
