Mike Starink: Especially behind the scenes
Thousand hours of live television. This can be read in the biography of Mike Starink (52) who, after the children’s program ‘Disney Club’, was allowed to work with calling games for ‘Call TV’. After some more meowing and bleating in two animal programs, Paul Haenen took him in tow; as a result, Mike occasionally did something on stage. However, that was often naked, so whoever wanted to see Mike in the nude should have struck at the time. That chance has become extremely small nowadays, because he mainly works behind the scenes of the television world as a director, talent scout and casting man, including at ‘De Alleskunnder VIPS’.
