Rotterdam – In the investigation into the stabbing incident in Rotterdam Overschie on January 18, the police are looking for information about what took place prior to the incident.
On this Thursday morning, an 82-year-old man from Maassluis was seriously injured when he was stabbed around 10:15 am. Officers soon afterwards arrested a 46-year-old man from Poland. He is in custody and is being interrogated. The victim is in hospital and his condition remains serious.

Prior to the stabbing incident, the suspect may have harassed people in the Overschie district or otherwise approached them in an unpleasant manner. The police would like to get in touch with them. The suspect is a 46-year-old Polish man with a light skin color and he has very short hair / is balding. He was dressed in black and does not speak Dutch.
