Good morning! The Rotterdam marathon will be held today for the 42nd time and in Japan the G7 foreign ministers will meet for a consultation.

What can you expect today?
- The 42nd edition of the Rotterdam Marathon will be run today. The starting gun is at 10:00 am. Abdi Nageeye was the first Dutchman to win last year and is participating again. Many roads in the city are closed and a large crowd is expected.
- G7 foreign ministers meet today in Japan’s Karuizawa. The country is currently the chairman of that consultation group. Among other things, the war in Ukraine and the tension between China and Taiwan are discussed. There will be a G7 summit in Japan next month.
- The classic Amstel Gold Race is ridden in Maastricht. The women’s race starts first and finishes around 2.30 pm in Berg en Terblijt, after 156 kilometers. The men are expected there around 5 p.m., after 253 kilometers.
