Marciano Vink cracks hard nuts about Ajax after the disappointing draw against Fortuna Sittard. The team from Amsterdam played a poor game and the new acquisitions cannot yet provide an impulse, the ESPN analyst believes.
According to Vink, there is nothing to be said about Fortuna (0-0). “Well deserved. They just went for it and Ajax had no answer to that. Apart from a few shots it was really lousy, actually”, is Vink’s harsh criticism.
The purchases of technical director Sven Mislintat also did not bring salvation. Josip Sutalo, Gaston Avila, and Georges Mikautadze made their debuts, while Branco van den Boomen, Benjamin Tahirovic and Carlos Forbs were also in the starting line-up. “When I look at the new players like that… I really know that they still have to get used to each other and still have to find each other, but you are now an Ajax player and then you have to be judged on that. really not good enough.”
