Amsterdam – On the Th. Weeversweg in Amsterdam Noord on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, a collision took place between a car and a scooter. The driver of the scooter, an 87-year-old man from Amsterdam, was seriously injured. Unfortunately, the man has since died of his injuries. Police are investigating the collision and are appealing for witnesses.
Around 4 p.m., the police received a report of the collision on Th. Weeversweg near Buikslotermeerplein. Once on site, help is immediately offered to the victim. The man was rushed to hospital, where he died of his injuries. A statement has been taken from the driver of the car, a 19-year-old woman from Amsterdam, and her involvement is being investigated further.
