The court in Rotterdam sentenced six men to prison sentences of between two and four months on Thursday. They are suspected of being cocaine extractors who were illegally in the port of Rotterdam.

According to the court, it has been established that the six men aged 37, 27, 26 (2x), 25 and 24 were illegally on the Maasvlakte port site on February 27, 2023. They hid there in a container and had sleeping bags with them.

First offenders

Three men have never been convicted of similar offenses before. They were sentenced to three months in prison, one month suspended. An area ban has also been imposed on them.

Two men already had a previous conviction, which means that their sentences are higher. They will receive four months in prison, one month of which will be conditionally imposed. It was the fourth conviction for the sixth suspect. He is sentenced to four months in prison.
