Severe vitamin deficiencies and even scurvy occur among the mostly undocumented patients.
Since 2021, Wong has volunteered on the care bus about once a week. She regularly participates in consultation hours at the Veni Cultura Foundation in the Bijlmer. Veni Cultura is an organization that provides assistance to vulnerable citizens from the Caribbean part of the Netherlands and from South America, among other things. The second group often resides undocumented in the Netherlands.
