Assen – A stabbing incident took place on Monday afternoon, September 18, near Oude-Molenstraat. The police arrested two more people on Monday evening on suspicion of possible involvement in the stabbing incident. The investigation continues and police are asking witnesses to come forward.
The police received a report of the stabbing incident on Monday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. Arriving officers found an injured 28-year-old man from Assen. He was checked by ambulance personnel. The police immediately started a (trace) investigation. A clear description was available of the two suspects. They were arrested in Assen on Monday evening. These are two 18-year-old boys from Ter Apel. They are being held and are being interrogated.
