Two fugitive men (53, 68) arrested in Breda and Tienhoven

The police this week arrested two fugitive men aged 53 and 68 who still have to serve a prison sentence or pay a fine. One of them has been convicted of involvement in the import and export of drugs via the port of Antwerp.

The police arrested a 53-year-old Dutch man who lives in Belgium during a check in Breda on Wednesday. He was reported and still has to serve 1772 days in prison, because he was convicted of involvement in the import and export of drugs via the port of Antwerp.

Transport sector

Agents visited the company where the man worked in the context of combating undermining in the transport sector. There they found the convicted man and he was arrested. The man is stuck.

530,000 euros

Last week, a 68-year-old fugitive man was also arrested in Tienhoven. He had not been registered in the Netherlands for more than 10 years, but was wanted by the police because he still had to pay more than 530,000 euros or instead had to serve 540 days in jail.

The man was tracked down and arrested by the FASTNL police team. Because the amount owed has not yet been paid, the man is stuck.
