In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, an explosive device exploded at the front door of a house on Doctor H. Colijnstraat in Amsterdam-Geuzenveld. No injuries were reported, police said, but there was significant damage in and around the home. The residents and local residents heard a loud bang around 3 a.m. and called the police.

The explosion destroyed the kitchen window and a fire raged in the front garden of the house, which borders the Jacob de Rijkhof. Police cordoned off the area. Forensic Investigation (FO) specialists have conducted trace investigations.

Last night’s incident is the third in a short time on the street. The night before, there was an explosion on the sidewalk near the same residence. Two parked cars were damaged as a result.
Further down the street, the front door of a house on the third floor of an apartment building was set on fire at around 10:30 p.m. last Monday, February 6.
