Tilburg/Dongen – On Monday night, April 1, 2024, several people were arrested after a crash. The cars were chased for a while by police officers because they drove at high speed through an industrial estate.

The police saw three vehicles driving at high speed on Swaardvenstraat around 4 a.m. Several units chase the cars. On the Eindsestraat in Dongen they get a stop sign and the road is partly blocked with a police car. The three cars drive past there at high speed. Ultimately the cars head towards the Vierbundersweg in Dongen. A vehicle crashes at the roundabout and ends up upside down in the ditch. Another vehicle ends up on the side of the road. A person flees across the nearby grass. A 20-year-old man from Venlo crawls out of the car and is immediately arrested. A suspect is found by a police dog around 4:20 am. This 18-year-old man from Tilburg hid under a vehicle, but was discovered by dog ​​Fred.

Whether a third vehicle was indeed involved and where it is now will have to be determined by further investigation.
