Brunssum – Two people were arrested this afternoon for involvement in a production location for synthetic drugs. The location is on the Rumpenerstraat in Brunssum.
Police are currently investigating the site of the production site. National Facility Support for Decommissioning (LFO) will investigate the nature of the substances and equipment that were found. After that, the dismantling of the location will start.
The two suspects are in custody and their involvement is under investigation.

Drug labs can be anywhere; in the countryside or in the big city, in barns, houses, garages or in apartment buildings. Signs that a drug lab is located include the presence of a strong synthetic odor (aniseed or chemically pungent, sour or acetone).
