Bergen op Zoom, Roosendaal – Three men were arrested this morning on suspicion of trafficking in hard and soft drugs. It concerns a 23-year-old man from Hoogerheide, a 26-year-old Roosendaler and a 30-year-old resident of Bergen op Zoom.
In recent months, the police received signals that a group in the area of ​​Bergen op Zoom and Roosendaal would be involved in the trade in hard and soft drugs. During the investigation, detectives became aware of several men who were apparently involved.
Several drug deals were observed by investigators. On behalf of the public prosecutor, three arrests were made this morning, Monday March 25, 2024, around 6 a.m. in connection with this investigation.
Searches
Three houses and a chalet were also searched under the supervision of the examining magistrate. More than 700 grams of dried hemp buds, approximately 1,700 euros in cash, a stolen motorcycle, various mobile phones and two toy weapons suitable for threatening were seized.
