Three men arrested after home invasion


The Hague – Middenbeemster – The police arrested three men in a home in Middenbeemster on Friday, March 22, for involvement in a home robbery. This home invasion took place on Tuesday, March 5, in a home on Simon Vestdijkstraat in The Hague. The three men are in restraints. This means that they are only allowed to have contact with their lawyer.

Around 9 p.m., two men entered the home and demanded money from the resident. The resident was forced to transfer money. He then managed to flee from his home. The two men also left the house shortly afterwards and ran off in the direction of Menno ter Braakstraat.

Arrests

Immediately after the robbery, the police launched an extensive investigation. The identities of the suspects became known from that investigation. The suspects are a 30-year-old man of no fixed residence, a 34-year-old man from Middenbeemster and a 21-year-old man from Spijkenisse. The three men will be brought before an examining magistrate on Monday, March 25.
