Three foreigners arrested for money laundering

On Friday, March 29, 2024 at 3:10 a.m., a Zeeland-West-Brabant police unit will pull over a car on the A16 near Zevenbergschen Hoek for a check. There are three men of foreign nationality in the car. The officers search the car and find 50,000 euros in cash in a hidden room. The origin of the money remains unclear and the occupants, a 21-year-old man from Belgium, a 23-year-old man from France and a 24-year-old man from Morocco, are arrested on suspicion of money laundering. The car, owned by a coach company, has been seized. The matter will be further investigated. At the desk it turned out that the man from France was wanted in his country.
