Three arrests for kidnapping Egmond aan Zee


Egmond aan Zee / Delft – The police have arrested three suspects for a kidnapping in Egmond aan Zee. More arrests cannot be ruled out.

A 42-year-old man from Beverwijk was threatened, held hostage and kidnapped in November 2023 by criminals who demanded money from him. He was held in a house in Egmond aan Zee on Saturday, November 11 from approximately 6:45 p.m. Nearly six hours later, three men took him against his will to Delft in his own car. The man eventually managed to escape.

In Opsporing Verzocht and Bureau Noord-Holland, the police showed images and asked the public to think about this case. We have been working hard behind the scenes in recent months. This has resulted in the arrest of a 26-year-old man from The Hague, a 22-year-old man from Delft and a 21-year-old woman from Belgium.
