Tech fair IFA is in full swing and you sometimes come across some special gadgets there. Of course there are the standard televisions, washing machines and headphones that generally take up all the space, but if you look closely you will also see many funny, other inventions. We name five.
The television case from LG
The most startling ‘invention’ we’ve seen at IFA 2023 has to be LG’s television case. It costs about 1000 euros and it is only 27 inches, but then you have a television that is in a suitcase. The device is called StanbyME Go and you can open the case and raise the screen in both horizontal and vertical mode. The device has no less than one HDMI port, although USB input is also possible. You can also charge the TV and then it will take about 3 hours. Do you want to take him? It weighs about 14 kilograms.
Honor’s phone bag
Honor also came up with a special gadget to amaze us all. It’s still a prototype, but it’s a phone case. To be honest it’s actually ‘just’ a foldable with a luxurious looking handle on it, but the idea is funny. There is also a bag icon on the screen so that your phone really looks like a bag. V Purse is the name of the device: what it can do next is not entirely clear.

We don’t have to spend much time on this: it’s exactly what you always wanted when you played with Transformers. An Optimus Prime and a Bumblebee that could really transform and where you didn’t even have to do that yourself, but that just happened automatically. In fact, you only have to ask them… Robosen brought these Transformers to life in robot form and they attracted a lot of attention at the fair.

Sometimes you’re on the train and then you want to play a game: ideal to use a handheld such as the Lenovo Legion Go. But yes, maybe you don’t want everyone to enjoy watching you fail completely for the tenth time. You can then make use of Lenovo Legion Glasses, which is a 27-inch glasses-shaped display that lets you enjoy the game in 1080p.

It was made with knowledge from NASA and that is what makes the Unistellar telescope so special. But there is more, because a new lens is now available for the device, with which you can look at the sun. And by that we mean: without getting black spots in front of your eyes or seeing practically nothing.
