The biggest update for Flitsmeister ever is mainly visual

If you don’t want to be flashed, there is a good chance that you use Flitsmeister. It remains the ultimate app for those who want to avoid fines or just want to know what’s happening on the road. Now the biggest update ever is coming to the app and it mainly comes in the form of a restyle.

Flitsmeister in a new guise

The company itself states: many functionalities have been added in recent years, time to revise the app and give it a new look. Particularly to ensure that motorists can quickly receive information and drive easily in the areas of speed alerts and navigation. And a bit of polishing was also necessary: the last visual adjustment was seven years ago.

This is everything new in the Flitsmeister app:

The bottom of the app will be different: the most commonly used buttons, such as switching between list and map, the menu and starting a route, can now be found at the bottom. In addition, a button will be added to report speed cameras and danger on and along the road. This way you can see it more quickly while driving, if you want to quickly report something.

Upgrade

The traffic tab can now be found in the menu, so current speed cameras can be found there. Additionally, alerts are displayed differently based on the type of alert. This way you can see in a flash what is coming your way and then quickly keep your eyes on the road again. Also nice: the green Flitsmeister smiley has also been given a facelift.

Flitsmeister is not just an app that reports speed cameras: you can also navigate with it. That is now being improved. The instruction of where to go is now visible during an alert and on the list tab. Navigation can now also be found more quickly in the app. You can also pay for parking with Flitsmeister and it is now easier to start and view a parking session. Flitsmeister also hopes that the new design will ensure that you no longer forget so quickly to switch off your parking when you drive away again.

In short, they are mainly visual upgrades and that also means that you probably have to get used to some things. Hopefully, however, they are mainly upgrades that make driving more comfortable and, above all, safer. And yes, if it also makes you more aware of the maximum speed, then that is a big plus…
