Henri W. (37) comes from near Nijmegen. He drove to the Van der Valk hotel in Eindhoven on February 22, 2023 ‘to pick up a package’. On Thursday, February 23, 2023, municipal workers discovered a stumbling, badly injured man on a forest road in Poppel (Ravels). He is covered in blood, has burns all over his body and is missing a finger. In his jacket pocket were two pieces of a finger.
W. is said to have been used as an intermediary by a group of campers who previously carried out a rip deal. The rip deal consisted of the campers offering a smuggling route to England to another criminal group. This would happen via the bribed helicopter pilot of the Nijmegen Radboud Hospital.
However, this turned out to be a fabrication, after which the coke disappeared into the hands of the group of campers at the hospital. Because they then offered the smuggling route again on Telegram, the robbed group decided to make contact again under different names.
When transferring the new batch of coke, they kidnapped the intermediary at the Van der Valk hotel in Eindhoven: the 37-year-old victim.
He was then horribly abused. The word THIEF was carved on his forehead. Part of his ear and two fingers were reportedly cut off.

Today they are hearing sentences of between three and 25 years. If the justice system has its way, the two alleged clients will spend thirty years in prison.
