Our Process and Information Management team at the municipality of Soest works daily on the challenges and opportunities that digitalization offers. And for this team we are looking for a people-oriented team leader with decisiveness and affinity with ICT and information management. Will you take up the challenge(s) with us?

What are you going to do?

As a PIM (Process and Information Management) team leader, you provide direction and frameworks, support professionals and coach where necessary. You are visible and a sparring partner for the team.

Together with your team, you are responsible for understanding and translating the information needs of the organization into effective policy. You advise the organization in an integrated manner and strive for continuous improvement.

As a team leader you are in contact with your team and the rest of the organization. You are open to the needs of your team members and proactively think about substantive developments and collaboration between the different clusters. You regularly coordinate with other team leaders and ensure connection and jointly implement the further development of the organization.

You are also a member of the MT operations, where together you stand for good services for the residents and for the organization. Within the MT you bring your expertise from your field, but also from your experience as a manager. So that we can continue to build on the professionalization of the municipality of Soest in a constructive and collaborative manner.

This is your team

The PIM team consists of different clusters. Within the clusters, in addition to the execution of operational tasks, (strategic) policies are developed for information management & management, digital working and we actively encourage ‘Continuous Improvement’ in our organization. As a team leader, you play a crucial role in shaping our improvements for 2024, such as further implementing data-oriented working, digital working and process improvements.

The Taxes and Basic Registrations cluster is also part of this team. This cluster is managed by a coordinator who is responsible for the daily management. There are currently 28 people working in the team, 12 of whom work in the Taxes and Basic Registrations cluster.

We have placed our ICT services with the RID, a joint scheme of 7 organizations. Tasks in the field of information provision are also taken up jointly with a number of regional municipalities. The PIM team coordinates and directs these developments.

We offer a salary of €5,008 to a maximum of €6,777 gross per month based on a 36-hour working week (scale 12). This salary depends on your experience and level of education.

When are we a match?

As a team leader with a coaching leadership style, you have an affinity with the relevant themes and a talent for developing teams, both in terms of content and advisory skills. You are a highly skilled communicator who can unite diverse interests and inspire people to innovate and collaborate. With your clear vision and decisive approach, you translate goals into concrete actions.

You also have:

  • At least a completed HBO education or equivalent level. For example, information science, business informatics or technical business administration;
  • Experience as a manager at a municipality, experience in leading a team with IT issues is an advantage;
  • Experience with collaboration with a joint scheme is an advantage.

What are we working on in Soest
