Without a high-quality and highly available ICT infrastructure, modern and safe ICT workplace facilities and associated systems, organizations come to a standstill. Our residents must always be able to use (digital) facilities that the municipality offers.

What are you going to do?
As an all-round system administrator at the municipality of Leusden, you manage the municipal ICT infrastructure together with two other colleagues and ensure that it functions properly. The environment is hybrid Microsoft (cloud) based and is subject to all kinds of innovations and also concerns approximately 250 M365-based workstations.

• You contribute to organization-wide projects both in Leusden and sometimes in the other three municipalities (Bunschoten, Nijkerk and Putten);
• You provide 2nd and 3rd line support for the Service Desk and Functional Management. You implement new releases/patches on our infrastructure and document the changes and incidents;
• You offer colleagues support based on your professional knowledge;
• You maintain contacts with external suppliers from whom we purchase ICT services;
• You are a proactive and communicative person.

In addition to managing the ICT infrastructure, we also ask you to facilitate functional management in managing and implementing changes in the application landscape.

In this broad, varied position with regularly difficult issues, you work closely with colleagues based on the principle of ‘making things a little better every day’.

Where will you work?
Your primary home base is the municipality of Leusden. Organizationally, you are part of the ICT team of the BLNP municipalities. In Leusden you work closely with two other experienced colleagues and the people from the service desk.
The position entails that you have a great sense of responsibility. You certainly don’t have an ‘8 to 5’ mentality. We expect you to contribute to the team. Both in terms of content and attitude, behavior and way of working together. You actively contribute to job satisfaction and a good atmosphere.

What do we offer?
An employment contract for a period of 1 year, if performance is good, this will be converted into a permanent appointment.
A gross monthly salary between €3,558 and €5,247 (scale 10) based on a 36-hour working week, depending on education and experience.
An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 17.05% of your salary, which you can use for extra leave or a bicycle, for example.
Flexible working hours with a good balance between work and private life. You don’t have to start promptly at half past eight and working partially from home is possible
A travel allowance for commuting, whereby a transport card for public transport is fully reimbursed.

What are we asking?

• You have at least a relevant MBO ICT training with HBO thinking and work level. Preferably several years of work experience as a system administrator;
• Demonstrable experience working in a hybrid Azure/Windows environment in combination with Microsoft 365 and Hyper-V. In addition, also work experience with networking and firewall experience. In short, all-round knowledge and skills;
• Knowledge of Oracle/SQL is an advantage;
• You demonstrably have relevant Microsoft certifications;
• Experience in the municipal domain is nice, but not a requirement!
