Synthetic drug lab found in Wormer

Wormer – A synthetic drug lab was found in a business premises on Malerstraat in Wormer. The police, together with the environmental service, made an entry there on Friday afternoon, March 24, around 1:45 p.m. in response to a report of odor nuisance.

Upon entering, the police discovered the synthetic drug lab. Large quantities of hard drugs were found. The location was cordoned off almost immediately, the fire brigade was called in and surrounding buildings evacuated. Subsequently, the fire brigade and police investigated. The drug lab and items present have been dismantled, removed and destroyed.

Drug labs can be anywhere; in the countryside or in the big city, in business premises, barns, houses, garage boxes or in apartment buildings.
