Raamsdonksveer – Witnesses reported the destruction of a car. When the police wanted to arrest the man, he came at the officers with a knife. After threatening him with an electroshock weapon, the man surrendered. The suspect appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
On Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 12:10 a.m., a surveillance car was instructed to go to Wilhelminalaan. There, a man allegedly threw a beer glass through the window of a car from a terrace. Witnesses saw it and chased the man to his home on the Gangslaan.
Arrest
When the officers arrived at the porch house, the suspect came down the stairs with a bread knife in the direction of the officers. They didn’t hesitate for a moment and one of them pulled out his stun gun and pointed it at the suspect. He decided to put his money where his mouth is and put the knife back in his home. He was arrested for this. A test at the station showed that the man was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. He’s locked up at the desk for the night. The investigation will continue to handle the case.
