Groningen – Last night a shooting incident took place on Iepenlaan in Groningen. The police immediately started an extensive investigation. A suspect was arrested Monday morning.
Around 10 p.m., the police received a report of a shooting incident on Sunday evening, September 10. A car was allegedly shot at. Trace investigations were carried out at the location and officers spoke with those involved and witnesses.
Suspect arrested
The police currently assume that shots have actually been fired. The arrest team searched a house later in the evening. An 18-year-old suspect from Groningen reported to the station on Monday morning. He has been arrested and is being interrogated. His involvement in the shooting incident is under investigation.
