Amsterdam – In the investigation into the explosive that went off in the night of October 4 to 5 in a porch of an apartment complex on Derde Oosterparkstraat, the Amsterdam police have arrested a suspect. The suspect, a 30-year-old Rotterdam resident, was arrested on Wednesday, November 1.
That night, local residents were startled from their sleep around 12:45 am by a gigantic bang. Some of them alert the emergency services when they see enormous devastation around the apartment complex. When the police arrive, they see that windows of several apartments have been shattered, a porch door has been blown out and even parked cars in the nearby area have suffered considerable damage. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of this explosion.

Security measures are then immediately taken and an investigation by various specialized police services is started. And this investigation, among other things, revealed this suspect. Despite the arrest of this suspect, the investigation continues and further arrests cannot be ruled out. It will also be investigated whether the arrested Rotterdam citizen can be linked to other explosions.
