Supposedly kidnapped man Spanbroek was found via conductor

The man who was probably kidnapped in Spanbroek last Friday was found by the attention of a train conductor. She recognized the description of the man she had spoken to on the train the day before.

Confused

The conductor saw a man looking confused in front of him on Sunday. “She decided to take the man with her on her train and had a chat with him on the way,” the police told RTV Noord-Holland. ‘She didn’t think the man looked so serious that she decided to call the crisis team or the police, for example. That was out of the question. The man could, she thought, take care of himself.’

Attentive

Due to the attentiveness of a train conductor, the kidnapped man was found, according to the police, confused but in good health. The police had been searching for him for two days. Witnesses had previously seen how he was forcibly taken in a car instead of Spanbroek.

The man got off at the station in Beverwijk. The next day the train conductor read the message about the missing man, who seemed to be the person she had dropped off at the station the day before. “She contacted us today and based on the descriptions, which exactly matched the description, it turned out to be the man we were looking for,” the police said to the regional broadcaster.

‘Based on that, we asked local police officers to keep Beverwijk residents on social media. Burgernet was also deployed this afternoon.’ Tips from bystanders who saw the man on it finally led to his discovery.

An arrest team already arrested two men on Friday in connection with the man’s disappearance. But that still didn’t lead to finding the unknown person.
