North and East Gelderland – From November 6 to 12, it was collaboration week in the NOG district. A total of 11 kg of fireworks, 6.7 kg of hemp, 174 kg of hashish and 6 kg of laughing gas were seized in various municipalities. Police also seized 7 boxes of vapes and 90 kg (90,000 pills) of methylphenidate. Several people have been arrested.
Various checks have been carried out throughout the district. The municipality has identified several violations of a zoning plan. Administrative warnings have also been issued.
Collaboration Week
We strive to organize both a week of cooperation and a week against subversion every year. During those weeks, the police, RIEC, municipalities, environmental services, ISZW, Customs, UWV, Social Investigations, KMAR, NVWA, the Public Prosecution Service and the tax authorities work together. In this way we send a message to criminals that we are doing everything we can to frustrate them as much as possible. We want to keep doubters on the right path. And we show society that the government is doing everything it can to tackle crime in their living environment.
