As an Application Manager you are responsible for the management and maintenance of, among other things, the application “Suites for the Social Domain” from supplier Centric. About 400 colleagues work with this application every day and you ensure that it functions safely and smoothly. Through your expertise, we ensure, for example, that Wmo applications can be submitted, benefits can be paid and that around 3,000 documents such as decisions, reports or invitation letters can be created and sent every day. What are you going to do
As a Social Domain Application Manager you play a central role in the optimal functioning of our systems and processes. One of your most important tasks is to ensure the continuity of the application within the Social Domain. This means that you ensure that all systems continue to run smoothly and that the municipality’s desired working methods are maintained. It is essential that you have a good understanding of how all components are connected and how the processes run within the Social Domain. This insight allows you to effectively anticipate possible bottlenecks and make improvements where necessary. Further you go:

  • Proactively manage and improve the application “Suites for the Social Domain”
  • Maintaining model documents, including legal technical adjustments;
  • Handling TopDesk reports;
  • Maintaining contacts with software suppliers;
  • Actively participate in optimizing processes and translating optimizations into understandable functional descriptions for colleagues at different levels;
  • Drawing up extensive manuals, testing systems and providing support to users.

You will become part of the Data, Information & Technology department, a close-knit team that strives for an efficient and modern working environment. Here you will work closely with seven application managers for the Social Domain, a Senior Application Management Social Domain and Application key users. What are you bringing?
You are someone with excellent communication skills who acts as a consultant within our organization. You are hands-on and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership. You are able to be the connecting link between users and applications within the social domain, where you actively solve problems and propose optimizations. In addition, you have:

  • HBO working and thinking level, achieved with an education, course or relevant work experience;
  • (General) ICT knowledge or affinity therewith;
  • Experience with the basics of suite management;
  • A good command of the Dutch language;
  • You are available 32 to 36 hours per week (4 x 9 hours is also possible)

  • The position is classified in salary scale 9. Based on full-time employment, this is a minimum of €3,317 and a maximum of €4,752 gross per month. Depending on your experience and current situation, we will make you the best possible proposal within this bandwidth;
  • 194 hours of leave and the option to purchase a maximum of 187 additional hours of leave (based on full-time employment);
  • An individual choice budget of 17.05% on top of your salary. That you can use it throughout the year for, for example, extra leave, an extra payment, study, holiday pay or the purchase of an (electric) bicycle;

  • If you perform well, you will in principle receive a permanent contract after one year;
