Skilled Helpdesk employee

32 – 36 hours a week

You are the first point of contact for colleagues at the municipality of Borne for all IT-related questions. Your main task is to accept, register, forward, monitor and handle questions and problems about the software and hardware. You translate your colleague’s question into a suitable technical solution and you know how to solve this question carefully.

What are you going to do next?

· You take care of accepting, registering and handling first and second line questions from colleagues. You monitor the quality and lead time of incoming questions. You also help with the troubleshooting of equipment.

· You record notifications and actions in TOPdesk and forward notifications to internal departments and suppliers.

· You think about structural improvements in and around the helpdesk.

· You take care of creating user accounts, managing and renewing the user accounts

· You arrange the issuance, preparation and commissioning of laptops and telephones for employees.

· You draw up manuals and procedures for standard use of hardware and software and keep them up to date.

What are you bringing?

· You have HBO work and thinking level and at least a relevant completed MBO education at level 4.

· You have experience at an ICT helpdesk and knowledge of ITIL is an advantage.

· You have experience with ICT management and support of Windows 10, Office 365, MS Exchange, Citrix XenApp, MS Intune and TOPdesk.

· You have good communication skills and you think collaboration is important. You are open to insights from others, but you also dare to make decisions.

· You can find yourself in important values ​​such as: involved, professional, customer and solution-oriented.

· You switch quickly between different tasks.

· Initially you will be appointed for a period of one year, with the prospect of a permanent appointment.

An attractive salary of up to €3,319 gross based on a 36-hour working week (reference date April 1, 2022), depending on your education and experience.
